Actor Anushka Sharma is currently shooting for ‘Chakda Xpress’ in Kolkata. She has shared a few pictures from the city to show all the street food she is indulging in as part of her diet. Taking to Instagram stories, she posted a short video of a street vendor making jhalmuri (assortment of puffed rice with spices, onion and tomato) for her. She also shared a picture of her holding the snack served in a newspaper cone. In another picture, she is seen holding guava slices on a piece of newspaper.
Sharing the pictures, Anushka wrote, ‘Jhalmuri and amrood (guava) for breakfast. Who wants to be in my diet plan?’
Earlier, pictures of Anushka from the sets of the movie had gone viral on the internet. Anushka was seen donning a school uniform, and sporting a short hair look. She was spotted playing cricket on the field. A Twitter user shared the pictures and wrote, ‘Today Anushka Sharma at our Andul Rajmath for the shoot of Chakda Xpress.’
‘Chakda Xpress’ is based on the life of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Earlier this month, Anushka completed the England schedule of the film.
‘Chakda Xpress’, directed by Prosit Roy, marks Anushka’s comeback to films after her 2018 film ‘Zero’, with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. It is being produced by Anushka's brother Karnesh Sharma under his home production company Clean Slate Filmz.
