'Bholaa', starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, has registered significant fall on day two. The action thriller that opened at ₹11.20 crore on Thursday, earned ₹7.40 crore on Friday.
Sharing the box-office figures, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, '#Bholaa slips on Day 2... The decline was on the cards, since Thu was #RamNavmi holiday, while Fri was a working day... Thu 11.20 cr, Fri 7.40 cr. Total ₹18.60 cr. #India biz.'
In another tweet, he wrote that the film needs to cover the lost ground over the weekend. He added the holy month of Ramadan and commencement of IPL 2023 has made a dent in its business.
The movie is an official remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi, which starred Karthi and was directed by Ajay Devgn. Ajay's remake is receiving a lot of comparisons because the original is regarded as a masterpiece and has already been seen by many people in the Hindi-speaking region. Despite the fact that the movie is a good offering, this is causing unnecessary negativity.
