Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is rumoured to be involved in cold war with Salman Khan, made his way to a theatre in South Mumbai to watch his latest film ‘Tiger 3’. He was seen seated in an IMAX theatre with ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand.
In photos that are being widely shared online, Arjun was seen keeping a low profile at the theatre. For the outing, he donned a black sweatshirt with a pair of matching pants. He sported a black cap to complete his look. Arjun watched the movie sans his girlfriend, Malaika Arora.
SALMAN-ARJUN’S BOND
The reason behind their strained relationship is still unknown, but it was Salman who encouraged Arjun to pursue acting. He even helped Arjun shape up to make an impressive debut.
Arjun was reportedly once dating Salman’s younger sister Arpita Khan. They apparently broke up in 2005.
Arpita is now married to actor Aayush Sharma and the couple has two kids together.
Arjun is currently dating Malaika Arora, who was previously married to Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz Khan.
Arjun and Malika have been together for over five years now. Malaika also shares a son with Arbaaz.
Arjun has never addressed the feud claims in public, but his father, producer Boney Kapoor confirmed that his relationship with Salman has been ‘strained’ in recent years.
In a 2020 interview with news agency IANS, Boney said, ‘Arjun always wanted to become a film director and that is why I had no plan to launch him, like a new hero. That was not our plan at all. But one day, I got a call from Salman saying Arjun should try his hand in acting because he has all the elements to become one. So, Salman took Arjun under his wings and groomed him.’
‘Unfortunately, my relationship with Salman is strained now, but initially Salman encouraged Arjun to get into acting. I owe this to Salman,’ Boney said.
