Malaika Arora's father Anil Arora died by suicide on Wednesday morning. He jumped from his apartment building in Bandra, Mumbai. The incident took place around 9 am today, said Police. The reason for the suicide is unknown.
Following the heartbreaking incident, Malaika's close friends and colleagues were seen arriving at her parents' residence to offer their condolences. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who shares a close-knit bond with Malaika, was spotted at the Arora's with her husband Saif Ali Khan. Ananya Panday was accompanied by her father Chunky Pandey as the duo got spotted at the Arora residence.
Malaika's ex-husband and actor-producer Arbaaz Khan also visited her house earlier today. He was accompanied by parents Salim and Salma Khan, brother Sohail and sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri. Malaika and Arbaaz ended their marriage in 2017. They continue to co-parent their son Arhaan.
Arjun Kapoor also reached the residence soon after the news broke in the media. Arjun and Malaika have reportedly parted ways after dating for a few years.
