Ananya Panday to star in Karan Johar's 'Call Me Bae', Alanna Panday to make debut with 'The Tribe'

Karan Johar announced his two OTT projects, ‘Call Me Bae' starring Ananya Panday, and 'The Tribe', marking the debut of Ananya's sister Alanna.

Starring Ananya Panday, 'Call Me Bae' will tell the story of an heiress who becomes a hustler fighting for her mark. Karan Johar shared a first-look poster of ‘Call Me Bae’ which shows Ananya with tears in her eyes. She looks all glamorous in a Satin dress. Sharing the poster Karan wrote, “Downsized from heiress to hustler, Bae discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her.” 

‘Call Me Bae’ will also star Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Vihaan Samat, Varun Sood, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Mini Mathur and Lisa Mishra. 

Alanna Panday to make acting debut with Karan Johar’s ‘The Tribe’ 

 
KJo also shared the poster of ‘The Tribe’ about the group of Indian influencers seeking global fame in Los Angeles. This will mark Ananya’s Panday’s sister Alanna Panday’s acting debut. Sharing the poster, Karan wrote, “Young, unafraid and chasing an epic dream, The Tribe are a group of Indian influencers who have been set up to crack global fame in....Los Angeles! Are they ambitious or asking for trouble?” 

‘The Tribe’ will also feature Alaavia Jaaferi, Srushti Porey, Alfia Jafry, Hardik Zaveri and Aryaana Gandhi.
