Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have shared the screen for the first time for a jewellery brand advertisement. The actors shared a glimpse of the commercial they shot together on social media.
In the video, Alia and Kareena talked about how gifting diamonds could make occasions special and also express one’s love.
They cited many examples like a boy proposing to his girlfriend, a man wishing 10th anniversary to his wife, a father showing his pride to his pilot daughter, children gifting diamonds to their mother and a lover apologising for missing their partner’s birthday.
In the end, Alia says that one can even gift diamonds to themselves to show self-love.
The advertisement is winning hearts and fans are complimenting Alia and Kareena’s onscreen chemistry. One user wrote, ‘What a beautiful campaign. Two Queens of Bollywood’, while another commented, ‘Wowww 2 beauties in 1 frame plz cast them in a movie’.
In August, Alia Bhatt shared a few BTS pictures on her Instagram from the shoot with Kareena Kapoor.
‘Can it get any better. P.S. Can someone please cast us in a film together…although we may spend most of our time on set reflecting,’ she wrote.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Netflix’s ‘Jaane Jaan’. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film also starred Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. She now has ‘The Crew’ with Tabu and Kriti Sanon and Hansal Mehta’s thriller, ‘The Buckingham Murders’ in the pipeline.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt recently announced her next film ‘Jigra’, which will be directed by Vasan Bala, and co-produced by Karan Johar and her.
