Alia Bhatt recently expressed admiration for Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra, highlighting them as significant inspirations for her Hollywood aspirations. Despite being one of Bollywood's leading stars, Alia made her Hollywood debut with ‘Heart of Stone’ in 2023.

Speaking at a Forbes’ event about working in Hollywood, the ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’ actor said, ‘Actresses from the Indian film industry have done that and are huge sources of inspiration to me. Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika, these are actors who are friends of mine but whom I also admire deeply. I have to give them a lot of credit because they paved the way in a sense. You know, made it a normal thing.’

Alia Bhatt’s upcoming projects

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt recently completed filming Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra,’ in which she stars alongside Vedang Raina in pivotal roles. Additionally, Alia has co-produced the film with Karan Johar. She has also signed on for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War,’ where she will share the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.

Alia Bhatt is also set to appear in a standalone film within the YRF Spy Universe. The confirmation of her standalone spy film came from Yash Raj Films' CEO Akshaye Widhani during the FICCI Frames event.

Alia's standalone spy film will mark the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. Thus far, YRF has released five films within this universe, including ‘Ek Tha Tiger,’ ‘Tiger Zinda Hai,’ ‘Tiger 3,’ ‘Pathaan,’ and ‘War.’ While Alia's film has been officially confirmed, there are rumors circulating about YRF's plans for additional projects within the spy universe.
