Actor Akshay Kumar, who turned a year older on September 9, visited Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain with Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan.
Akshay spent his birthday morning performing aarti at Mahakaleshwar. He was also accompanied by his sister, niece and son Aarav. Shikhar and Akshay performed Bhasma aarti together.
Later, Akshay said that the country should continue to grow and Baba's blessings should remain. Shikhar Dhawan said that he thanked God for calling them there and took blessings. When Shikhar was asked about the World Cup, Akshay playfully said that these are small things to wish for since they are destined to win.
On the work front, Akshay was last seen in 'Oh My God 2' and currently gearing up for Abbas Ali Zafar's new release titled 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' with Sonakshi Sinha and Tiger Shroff.
