A source told Pinkvilla, 'While everything was on paper with regard to the casting of Hera Pheri 3 with Kartik Aaryan, the tides are now changing again. Over the last 10 days, Firoz has met Akshay Kumar a couple of times to sort out all the differences and get him back to the loved franchise. Akshay Kumar recently attended the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You do fantastic movies like Pad Man and Toilet. There is an issue between India and Pakistan as well. Your recent movie Bell Bottom has certain things against Pakistan.'

To this, Akshay calmly replied, 'Sir, it’s just a movie. Don’t get so serious about it. It’s just a movie. There are many things like that. It’s just a movie, sir.' His answer is winning the hearts of the netizens and they are hailing him for his decency.
