Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Thadam’ remake titled as ‘Gumraah’

Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur have teamed up for the Hindi remake of film-maker Arun Vijay's critically acclaimed Tamil film 'Thadam.' And the makers have decided to name the film as 'Gumraah.'

The crime thriller, which is based on true events, will see Aditya Roy Kapur playing a double role for the first time in his career. On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur will be seen in the role of a cop. The two actors will reportedly have an intense face-off in this thriller.

Aditya Roy Kapur has wrapped the first schedule and will begin the second schedule on May 10 with Mrunal Thakur. Actor Ronit Roy, who plays a pivotal role in the film, will be joining the team soon.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and is helmed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar.
