The teaser of ‘Adipurush’, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, was unveiled on October 2, and a grand launch event was held at Ayodhya. Soon after its release, makers were trolled on social media for poor VFX and animation, and few netizens even called the teaser a cheap copy of ‘Game of Thrones’.
Now, top VFX Company, VFXwaala, has issued a clarification stating that they haven’t worked on the teaser and they will not be associated with the forthcoming film anymore.
Their statement read, ‘Leading VFX Studio, NY VFXwaala has clarified that they have not worked/ are not working on the CG/special effects of Adipurush. An official note on their behalf clarified, 'we are putting this on record because we have been asked by a few media people.' (sic).
‘Adipurush’, directed by Om Raut, is based on the epic Indian mythological tale, Ramayana. The film will release in theatres on January 12, 2023. In the film, Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Ram, while Saif will be portraying the role of Lankesh.
Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh will be playing the role of Sita and Lakshman.
‘Adipurush’ is currently in the post-production phase.
