Former actor Asin, who is best known for her role in Aamir Khan starrer ‘Ghajini’, sparked divorce rumours as she deleted photos with her husband, co-founder of Micromax, Rahul Sharma from Instagram.
Asin is not quite active on social media, but fans were quick to notice that she has deleted photos with Rahul and were concerned about her wellbeing.
Now, Asin has rubbished these rumours. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Asin said that currently she is enjoying her summer holidays with Rahul and they came across some 'very imaginative and utterly baseless news'
She said this reminds her of the time when they were planning their wedding with their families and they heard that they had broken up.
‘Pls do better. Disappointed to have wasted 5mins of an otherwise wonderful holiday on this!,’ she wrote.
Asin and Rahul Sharma tied the knot on January 19, 2016, in an intimate ceremony. They were blessed with daughter Arin in October 2017.
Akshay Kumar, Asin’s ‘Khiladi 786’ co-actor, introduced her to Rahul in 2012. He was also the Best Man at her Christian wedding.
After the wedding, Akshay told PTI, ‘Asin and Rahul are very private people. Everybody has respected their privacy. It was a very simple affair and today they are very happy and I am very happy that I played Cupid. I hope that they live like this forever.’
Asin made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in ‘Ghajini’ (2008). She also starred with Salman Khan in ‘Ready’, worked with Ajay Devgn in ‘London Dreams’ and was also a part of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Bol Bachchan’.
Before moving to the Hindi film industry, Asin also worked in Telugu, Tamil films and Malayalam films.
