Los Angeles, Aug 29 (PTI) — Actors Anna Kendrick and Seth Rogen are in talks to star in a new comedy film titled "Babies".
According to Variety, an entertainment news outlet, the film is described as a contemporary comedy-drama set in Los Angeles.
The movie will be directed by Lauren Miller Rogen, who is known for helming the 2018 film "Like Father", which starred Kristen Bell alongside Seth Rogen. Lauren Miller has penned the script for this new project.
The storyline follows Annie (played by Anna Kendrick) and her husband Aaron (played by Seth Rogen) as they navigate the challenging decision of whether to start a family or to become instant co-parents when their newly-divorced friend moves in with them, bringing along her 3-year-old child.
Production for the film is slated to begin in November and will be filmed in Los Angeles.
Anna Kendrick’s recent work includes "Another Simple Favor", which she stars in alongside Blake Lively. Directed by Paul Feig, this film began streaming on Prime Video on May 1. It serves as a sequel to the 2018 release "A Simple Favor", also directed by Feig and based on Darcey Bell’s novel.
Seth Rogen, meanwhile, will soon appear in "Good Fortune", a comedy film from Aziz Ansari, which is scheduled for an October release. The film also features Hollywood star Keanu Reeves.
