Alia Bhatt, the renowned Bollywood actress, recently opened up about the thoughtful process behind naming her daughter, Raha, and also hinted at having a boy's name in mind for her second child with husband Ranbir Kapoor.
The couple welcomed their daughter Raha in 2022, with the name suggested by Ranbir's mother, Neetu Kapoor.
During an engaging conversation on Jay Shetty's podcast, Alia shared insights into the naming journey. She revealed that she and Ranbir had eagerly sought both boy and girl names from their family group to be well-prepared.
Among the suggestions, one boy's name caught their attention. "We really liked one boy's name, which I'm not going to reveal now," Alia remarked.
She further explained how Neetu Kapoor's suggestion of the name Raha resonated with them. "My mother-in-law suggested, 'What about Raha? It'll go very well with the boy's name, creating a lovely combination if you have both a boy and a girl.'
We instantly loved Raha," Alia shared. The name Raha, according to Alia, signifies peace, joy, and bliss, encapsulating what their daughter means to them.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in April 2022.
On the professional front, Alia was last seen in the film "Jigra" and is currently busy filming Yash Raj Films' project "Alpha."
