Art Director Nitin Desai’s tragic death has shocked the Bollywood industry and Akshay Kumar has postponed the release of his upcoming film ‘OMG 2’s trailer 'out of respect'.
Taking to Twitter, Akshay wrote, "Unbelievably sad to know about the demise of Nitin Desai. He was a stalwart in production design and such a big part of our cinema fraternity. He worked on so many of my filmsâ€æ this is a huge loss. Out of respect, we are not releasing the OMG 2 trailer today. Will launch it tomorrow at 11 am. Om Shanti."
Many celebrities mourned the death Nitin Desai is known for designing lavish sets for some of megahits like 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Devdas', 'Jodha Akbar', and 'Lagaan'.
Directed by Amit Rai, the film features Akshay Kumar in the avatar of Lord Shiva. It also stars Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi and Arun Govil and is scheduled to release on August 11.
