Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are gearing up for their wedding in July. Ahead of their big day, there is strong speculation that the couple is in talks to fly in singers Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey for their Mumbai wedding.
Sources tell India Today that the singers might come to India to perform at the wedding celebrations, set to take place between July 12-14. They also shared that negotiations are ongoing to secure the artists' dates for the wedding.
Following pop queen Rihanna’s performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s grand pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, other international acts at the cruise celebrations included The Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, who performed for a live audience on the Italian island of Portofino.
The mass wedding function took place at Reliance Corporate Park in Thane on July 2, with around 800 people representing the couples’ families. Nita and Mukesh Ambani, along with Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, and Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, attended the event.
According to India Today TV, Anant and Radhika's Sangeet ceremony will feature dance performances by friends of the soon-to-be-married couple.
Sources also mentioned that the event will capture Anant and Radhika's love story, depicting how they met and planned their future together.
The ceremony will include a mix of Western and Bollywood songs, featuring Radhika's favorites like Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and Rihanna. Additionally, performances from Bollywood stars invited to the pre-wedding festivities are also expected.
Anant Ambani’s wedding festivities began with an intimate puja ceremony at the Ambanis’ Mumbai residence, Antilia, on June 29. The couple will marry on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
The three-day wedding features three events: 'Shubh Vivaah' on July 12, followed by 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13, and 'Mangal Utsav,' the wedding reception, on July 14.
