Actor Aamir Khan launched the trailer of Punjabi movie 'Carry On Jatta 3' in Mumbai on May 30. At the event, he was asked about his next project after 'Laal Singh Chadha's failure and the actor replied that he will sign the next film when he's 'emotionally ready'.
'I haven’t signed any film yet. I just want to spend time with my family and I am doing just that. When I am emotionally ready to do a film, I will definitely do it,' he said.
Aamir also revealed that he's a huge fan of comedian-actor Kapil Sharma, who was also present at the event.
'I am doing less work these days and spending more time with my family. So, I enjoy watching comedy in the evening. I watch something funny before I go to sleep. Since last few months I’ve been watching The Kapil Sharma Show and I have become his (Kapil Sharma) fan. I called him a few weeks ago to thank him for the entertainment through his show and making people laugh. It is a big thing to make people laugh. Thank you, Kapil,' he said.
Aamir then asked him why he was never invited him to 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
He said, 'It is wrong how you have never called me on your show. Before he asks me, I ask him this.'
Kapil replied, 'It will be our good fortune the day you come on our show. Whenever I have met Aamir bhai, I have met him in a crowd. I have requested Aamir bhai many times but he’s said he was going somewhere and that we should talk after he returns and we end up meeting after three years. So it will be great if he comes on the show.'
Aamir said, 'You always call me during my movie promotions. I don’t want to come for that. I want to come to entertain.'
