'72 Hoorain': CBFC denies rejecting film's trailer; says 'misleading reports won't be entertained'

Days after '72 Hoorain' co-producer Ashok Pandit alleged that film's trailer was refused a censor certificate, Central Board of Film Certification has issued an official statement denying the claim.
CBFC said that the film was given 'A' certificate in 2019 and the makers were asked to modify the trailer, which is still under progress from the latter's end.

In its note, CBFC said that misleading reports are being circulated in certain section of media that the film '72 Hoorain' and its trailer has been refused certification.

It said misleading reports will not be entertained or circulated hereinafter when the matter is under due process.
