New Delhi, Jul 30 (PTI) Prime Video has announced that the eagerly awaited second season of its reality adventure series "007: Road to a Million" will premiere on August 22.

Drawing inspiration from the legendary James Bond universe, this UK Original promises even more excitement with its revamped format, as detailed in a press release.

The series, consisting of eight episodes, will feature eight new pairs of ordinary Britons who will embark on a thrilling global adventure. They will face high-octane challenges as they vie for a £1 million prize.

Participants will encounter daunting tasks such as climbing the dizzying heights of Bangkok’s Sinn Sathorn Tower, confronting live scorpions in Thailand, navigating Alpine cable cars, firing guns at a historic hacienda in Mexico, and diving with sharks in the Bahamas. These challenges are designed to test their physical and emotional limits. Each leg concludes with the nail-biting “Killer Question”, with the slowest pair facing potential elimination.

Returning as The Controller is British veteran Brian Cox, an enigmatic presence who guides—and occasionally taunts—the contestants as they inch closer to their million-pound prize.

This new season promises a diverse and dynamic cast representing a cross-section of British society, each competitor bringing unique motivations and personal stories to the intense competition.
