After the 1st T20 went down the drain, hosts England drew first blood in the 3-match series after they took an unbeatable lead by winning the 2nd game in Manchester. Skipper Babar Azam scored a fluent 56 followed by a whirlwind 69 off 36 balls by veteran Mohd Hafeez. Pakistan ended with 195/4 on the board which looked more or less a winning total. In reply, England rode on a quickfire 44 from Jonny Bairstow & half-centuries from Dawid Malan and skipper Eoin Morgan. Morgan was the key as he smashed 66 with a strike rate of 200 to take England past the finish line with 5 balls and 5 wickets to spare.
