With just days to go for General Election 2024 to officially kick-off, all eyes are on southern state Tamil Nadu.

The state which alternately elects AIADMK or DMK to power is witnessing a fierce three-way battle this time with BJP going all out to make inroads after splitting from one of its oldest allies, AIADMK.

Often considered a fringe player in Tamil Nadu's electoral arena dominated by the Dravidian heavyweights, a resurgent BJP in Tamil Nadu has seen its stock rising much beyond its expectations this time with Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking charge of the campaigning declaring an affinity with the people of Tamil Nadu and the heritage of Tamil People in a spate of visits since early 2024.

The Prime Minister has held road shows, rallies, public meetings etc but what has been the response from the ground?

Will Modi's mission Tamil Nadu be enough to breach into the Dravidian stronghold?

Or is it DMK’s moment to rise as the top winner for opposition INDIA bloc?

Battling a leadership crisis after Jayalalitha’s demise, will AIADMK be able to cash in on anti-incumbency sentiment?

And most importantly, which way will anti-DMK votes go amid BJP-AIADMK split?

Watch Vikram Chandra speak with Saravanan Annadurai, National Spokesperson, DMK and Kovai Sathyan, National Spokesperson, AIADMK on who will win the mother of all battles which will play out on April 19 in Tamil Nadu.
