The India Story| Civilian toll mounts as Israel-Hamas conflict escalates

In the wake of Palestinian terrorist group  infiltration on October 7, 2023, followed by extensive rocket attacks on residential areas, Israel has declared a state of war against Hamas. 

The conflict has resulted in the loss of at least 2,800 lives on both sides.

During the swearing-in of the national emergency government at the Knesset, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to eradicate Hamas from existence.
