EC has to take responsibility for attack on Mamata: TMC files complaint with poll panel

Leaders of Trinamool Congress meet the Election Commission officials on Thursday and filed a complaint about the alleged attack Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee in her constituency Nandigram on Wednesday.

Banerjee had sustained injuries on her left leg and remains admitted in the hospital’. TMC leader Partha Chatterjee after lodging complaint with election office said the poll body was acting as per the orders of the BJP and EC has to take responsibility for attack on Banerjee.

Meanwhile BJP has also filed a complaint alleging that CM was lying about the attack to garner sympathy.
