An IIT-Delhi incubated startup has developed an e-scooter that cuts travel cost to just 20 paise per kilometer. Called HOPE, the scooter is an Internet-based one and is an affordable alternative to petrol scooters that cost about Rs 2.5 per km. The scooter comes with a portable battery and a portable charger. According to an ANI report, a user can even switch between pedals for fitness and throttle for convenience.
