Dhoni: my last game for India was in Ranchi, hopefully my last T20 will be in Chennai

'The Journey of CSK is the journey of faith, of leadership', said Chennai Super Kings' owner N Srinivasan at the IPL victory celebration in Chennai on Saturday. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin who was present at the celebration received CSK's 4th IPL Cup from skipper MS Dhoni and N Srinivasan.

N Srinivasan lauded MS' leadership and said that no other captain could have managed it better than Dhoni did who never even brought it on his face. 

The World Cup-winning skipper was present at the event along with BCCI secretary Jay Shah, Kapil Dev, Ravi Shastri revealed that he will play his last game in Chennai only. 

The former India skipper said, 'The last game that I played for India was in Ranchi. The last home game in ODI version was at my hometown in Ranchi. So, hopefully, my last t20 will be in Chennai. Whether it's next year or in 5 years' time, we don't really know'

Crediting the success of CSK to the owner, Jay Shah lauded N Srinivasan. He said that Srinivasan never interferes in his franchise's cricket which only empowers the team further.

Speaking about next year's IPL, Shah said that the 15th season of the IPL will take place in India and it will be more exciting with new teams joining. We have a mega auction coming up to see what the new combination looks like'
