Delhi: Wrestler killed in stadium brawl, Olympian Sushil named in FIR

Two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar has been named in an FIR in connection with a brawl that led to the death of a wrestler inside Delhi's Chhatrasal Stadium, police said on Wednesday.

A 23-year-old wrestler died and his two friends got injured after they were allegedly brutally assaulted by other wrestlers inside the Chhatrasal Stadium.

According to the police, the brawl took place between a group of wrestlers and others in the parking area. Thereafter, police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The police is on a lookout for Sushil Kumar, who was not found at his home on Wednesday. Sushil has denied any role in the clash.
