The Delhi Police will file a chargesheet detailing conspiracy in the February communal riots by Thursday. Claiming to have discovered a common pattern of simultaneous roadblocks by the anti-CAA protesters before the riots, DCP Pramod Singh Kushwaha said that this was the first indicator of a 'planned conspiracy'. Claiming that people who protested were not locals but came from outside, the police officer said 25 protest sites, mostly in trans Yamuna area have been identified. Police had earlier named leaders of political parties, social activists and filmmakers in its chargesheet, a move which had led to uproar from the critics of the Modi government.
