Delhi High Court dismisses Juhi's 5G plea, imposes ₹20 lakh fine

The Delhi High Court on Friday dismissed a lawsuit filed by actor Juhi Chawla against the setting up of 5G wireless networks in the country.

The Court also imposed a Rs 20 lakh fine on the plaintiffs, saying they  abused the process of law.

The Delhi High Court in its order said it appears that the suit was for publicity and Juhi circulated the link of the hearing on social media which created disruption thrice.

It ordered the Delhi Police to identify the persons and take action against those who created disruption.
