Covid-19 patients of Delhi's civic-run Hindu Rao Hospital were transferred to hospitals or facilities run by the Delhi govt after doctors of Hindu Rao went on a 'symbolic' strike demanding their salary dues for last 3 months. The Delhi govt said that the patients can choose to be shifted to the LNJP Hospital or any other hospitals run by them. Delhi Health Minister slammed the BJP-led North Delhi Municipal Corporation saying that they should hand over municipal hospitals to the AAP govt if they can't run them. North Delhi Mayor Jai Prakash shot back, claiming that the Delhi govt was trying to handicap the corporation by not giving them pending funds.
