Delhi Commission for Women takes note of rape threats to Virat Kohli's daughter Vamika

The Delhi Commission for Women on Tuesday sent a notice to the city police and said it has taken suo moto cognizance of threat given to the family of Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli.

The notice stated that it has been reported that online threats are being given to rape the nine-month-old girl child of Virat Kohli. 

In a sickening turn of events, Virat Kohli's daughter Vamika was subject to rape threats by a social media user.

The user who quickly first changed his account details on Twitter later deleted the tweet as well as the account. Some users took screenshots of the abusive tweet which has now gone viral.

This is not the first time that young children of the Indian cricketers were receiving rape threats, after MS Dhoni's daughter Ziva was on the sickening receiving end last year after Chennai Super Kings failed to qualify for the playoffs in the Indian Premier League.
