External affairs minister S Jaishankar on Saturday said that he was deeply shocked at the gunning down of 8 workers, including 4 Sikhs, at a Fedex facility in US city of Indiana. India will render "all possible assistance" to local authorities and community leaders in Indianapolis, Jaishankar added. About 90 per cent of the workers at this delivery service facility are said to be Indian-Americans, mostly from the Sikh community. This was at least the third mass shooting this year in Indianapolis alone, AP reported. The Indian Embassy in Washington DC conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families of those who died and "pray for the speedy recovery of those injured".
