In some good news, the iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway or Darjeeling Toy Train is all set to resume operations from the 25th of December, ANI reported.

The Northeast Frontier Railway confirmed that the Toy Train Joyride between Darjeeling and Ghoom stations in West Bengal will begin operations after being closed for nearly nine months in the wake of Covid-19.

The move, authorities believe, will give a boost to local economic activities in the run up to New Year. Depending on the requirement, more such services will be resumed in the following days.
