Crypto hackers started to return funds after they stole around $610 million from Poly Network, a blockchain protocol which helps link blockchains together.

Poly Network said on Twitter that $260 million of the stolen funds had been returned but that $353 million was outstanding.Close to  $267 mn of ethereum (ETH-USD), $252 mn of Binance coin (BNB-USD) and roughly $85 mm in USDC tokens were taken in the heist.

The hack is one of the largest ever in crypto, topping the $500 million crypto theft  at Tokyo-based bitcoin exchange Coincheck in 2018.
