A Bharatiya Janata Party leader in Punjab was shot and injured on 16 April 2023.
Balwinder Gill was shot outside his residence in Jandiala Guru in Amritsar around 9 pm, as per reports.
Two men with covered faces arrived at Gill's house on a motorcycle. They asked his daughter to call him outside.
When Gill stepped out, they opened fire.
