Alwar: Man says wife beats him up with bat in front of son, submits CCTV as proof

A man in Rajasthan's Alwar has accused his wife of physical assault and mental harassment. News reports identified the victim as Ajit Singh Yadav, a school principal.

He had CCTV cameras installed in his house to capture the domestic violence. In CCTV videos doing the rounds on social media, Ajit Singh is seen being hit with what looks like a cricket bat. In one of the videos, the couple's son is present in the room.

Ajit Singh reportedly married Suman seven years ago, and the violence allegedly started after a brief period of peace. The principal has moved a court seeking protection. He claimed that he had not approached authorities "keeping in mind the dignity of teachers".
