Man 'bought' wife for ₹70,000 from Bihar, now arrested for killing her: Delhi police

Days after the body of a woman was found in a forest area in Delhi, police announced the arrest of her husband Dharamveer, and two alleged accomplices.

Investigators on August 9 said that the man had "purchased" the woman as a wife from Bihar for ₹70,000.

Cops added that the man was agitated as she used to "elope" often, and disappear from the house for months at a time.

The body of the victim, identified as Sweety, was found in Fatehpur Beri on August 5.
