In a shocking incident in Kerala, a woman doctor was killed allegedly by a man who was brought to the hospital for treatment by police.
Dr Vandana Das was stabbed to death on May 10, 2023, when a man allegedly went berserk with a pair of scissors and a scalpel.
He was being treated for a wound on his leg and had been brought by police after he had had a fight with his family.
Subsequently, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan visited the hospital where the doctor's body was kept.
