Delhi: Woman dragged on road by bike-borne men trying to steal her mobile phone

A case of phone-snatching in Delhi turned even more sinister and dangerous on August 11.

A woman teacher was dragged on the street allegedly by two men on a motorcycle, who were trying to steal her mobile phone.

The victim, identified as Yovika Chaudhary, was travelling in an auto when the bike-borne men allegedly tried to snatch her iPhone.

Subsequently, she fell off the auto and was dragged for some distance before the thieves successfully fled with the phone.

Yovika was rushed to hospital with a fractured nose and other injuries.
The assailants have not been caught yet.
