Days after the murder of alleged gangster Atiq Ahmed, a prominent member of his gang was arrested in Kareli.
Asad Kalia, who is considered a key aide of Atiq's wife Shaista Parveen, was nabbed on April 19, 2023.
Kalia faces several cases, including attempted murder. Atiq's wife Shaista is wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case but is absconding.
