Continuing with the downward trend, India on Saturday reported 60,753 new Covid-19 cases, while the number of those dead stood at 1,647 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Health Ministry said active Covid cases in the country stood at 7,60,019, while the total cases were at 2,98,23,546. The govt said a total of 27,23,88,783 people have been vaccinated with at least one dose so far.
The govt also informed that the active cases in the country are at the lowest in 74 days while the recovery rate has been increased to 96.16%. Recoveries in India have outnumbered active cases for the 37th straight day.
