Covid-19 scare has once again hit football as Manchester United have reported fresh infections in their squad and among the support staff.

According to the British newspaper The Sun, some players and staff members at the Premier League club have tested positive and were sent home before training. While other media reports suggest that the remaining squad trained and there were no-contact practice sessions.

The Red Devils are scheduled to play their Premier League game on Tuesday against Brentford. Notably, Tottenham's two Premier League games were postponed after the Covid-19 outbreak in their squad.
