England cricket was rocked by Covid-19 on Tuesday as ECB confirmed that 7 members, including 3 players and 4 management team members of the Men's ODI party have tested positive.
The entire squad has been forced to isolate but the ODI and T20 series against Pakistan will go ahead with Ben Stokes set to lead a new squad. ECB added that incoming squad and support team members will follow PCR tests and bridging protocols to ensure safe entry to camp.
England recently completed a 6-match limited-overs series vs Sri Lanka and are set to take on Pakistan from July 8. They will then shift focus to Tests and will face India in a 5-match series.
