After controversy over the suspension of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Twitter account, the Congress on Wednesday said the handles of five other senior leaders, had also been locked by Twitter.
The Congress claimed that media-in-charge Randeep Surjewala, MP Manickam Tagore, Assam-in-charge Jitendra Singh, AICC general secretary Ajay Maken and Mahila Congress president Sushmita Dev have been locked out of their accounts.
The Congress is accusing Twitter of acting against its leaders under pressure from the Modi government.

After Rahul Gandhi's account was temporarily suspended and a tweet deleted, the Congress on Monday accused Twitter of adopting "double standards" and violating the freedom of expression "under the diktat of the Modi government".
