Wreckage of China’s Long March 5B rocket has re-entered the atmosphere on Sunday, according to Chinese state media. Remnants of China's biggest rocket landed in the Indian Ocean, ending days of speculation over where the debris would hit.
China said remnants of Long March 5B-rocket landed at location at longitude 72.47 degrees east, latitude 2.65 degrees north.
Most of the debris was burnt up upon re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere, the China Manned Space Engineering Office said.
The Long March launched last week was the second deployment of the 5B variant since its maiden flight in May 2020
