A group of children came together to create a ‘Micro-Oxygen chamber’ in Ludhiana by planting 750 tree saplings of at least 60 native species.
The team comprised of 10 school-going children, calling themselves ‘Green Warriors’ who attempt to create a micro forest that would be 'by the kids and for the kids’.
The plantation drive which took place in Ludhiana’s Rakh Bagh, was carried out under the supervision of IRS officer Rohit Mehra and his wife Geetanjali, who have taken many such green initiatives for the city.kids
