Riding on brilliant performances by the young guns, Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a nervy 7 run win over Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2020. Batting first, Hyderabad managed 164/5 with a half-century from Under-19 skipper Priyam Garg. Abhishek Sharma supported with a superb 31 as Hyderabad put up an above-par total for Chennai to chase. In reply, Chennai were never in the game as they were off to a very poor start. The 3-time Champions had 3 down for 36 in 6 overs. Dhoni and Jadeja then put on 72 for the 5th wicket with Jadeja smashing his maiden IPL fifty. Dhoni remained unbeaten on 47 off 36 balls but couldn’t get his team past the finish line as Hyderabad won by 7 runs.
