Supreme Court on Friday pulled up the West Bengal government over its stand against the Centre's One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) scheme and directed it to implement the scheme immediately "without any excuses"

Union Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said only 3 states, Delhi, West Bengal and Assam have not adopted the scheme. He further added that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal should answer why the scheme has not been implemented in the national capital.

Meanwhile, the apex court also reserved its order on the case relating to problems faced by migrants during the lockdown and on registration process of unorganised workers to help them avail the welfare benefits given under various government schemes.
