Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has been ranked the 16th best airline worldwide, moving four places up from last year, at the 2023 World Airline Awards by Skytrax.

Singapore Airlines has won the title of World’s Best Airline at the 2023 World Airline Awards for the fifth time in the 23-year history of the awards.

IndiGo climbed two spots to 43rd rank from the previous year’s 45th spot.

Qatar Airways – a seven-time Airline of the Year winner – was No.2 this year, followed by Japan’s ANA All Nippon Airways in third position, Emirates fourth and Japan Airlines in fifth place.

The Skytrax awards are based on surveys of more than 20 million travelers across over 100 nationalities, who rated more than 325 airlines between September 2022 and May 2023.
