Starbucks is finding its 'Indian soul' has it gears to revamp the menu to offer masala chai and a hot cup of filter coffee as per reports.
ET reports that the global coffee giant is going to include street-style freshly assembled sandwiches, milkshakes, bite-sized snacks which is being test driven in 4 markets - Bengaluru , Bhopal, Indore and Gurgaon
For decades global brands have had to find their 'Indian tastebuds' to expand in one of the world's largest retail markets. It all started in the 1980's with Nestle spicing it up for the Maggi brand for the 'hot and spicy' sauce. Then came the flurry with the paneer pizzas from Pizza Hut and the ever famous McAloo Tikki burger from McDonalds, Starbucks is now joining a long list of global fast food chains that have gone vocal for local in their menus.
