At Global Fintech Fest, SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch talked about how SEBI's ultimate objective for regulated entities is a better and easier framework for compliance.
This was Buch's first public speech since the Hindenburg report was released, which alleged that the SEBI chairperson and her husband previously held investments in offshore funds also used by the Adani group. These charges were categorically denied by Buch and her husband.
